31 Mar Spring Tablescape Decor Ideas
Easter weekend is here and I’m excited to share some decor inspiration for your Spring tables! I recently relocated to NH’s beautiful seacoast so tomorrow is going to be the first family gathering in our new spot. I’m looking forward to bringing Sip & Script to this area while Julie and Jess continue to spread the lettering love all around Boston!
Last weekend after collecting centerpiece flowers for our Gus & Ruby collaboration in Portland I was inspired to shoot some Spring table looks. Since the majority of my office goods and props are still in storage post-move, I wanted to source a few budget friendly pieces for an simple and fun tablescape. To start with some texture, I picked up some linen window panels at Christmas Tree Shop to use as draped fabric cascading of the table on each end. It was easy to hid the curtain rod hooks on each end by just folding them under the other panel in the center of the table. I also love getting candlesticks from Christmas Tree Shop because they have a great variety of unscented colored ones that don’t drip all over the table as they burn.
The white geometric “bud vases” are actually tea light candle holders from The Dollar Tree turned upside-down. I picked up the tall white glass candle votives there and was pleasantly surprised with their selection of wrapping paper and tissue paper too! I ended up cutting some of the mint tissue paper for the place cards I set on each charger.
Finally, the playful gingham and bunny plates and chargers (which I’ll be using all Spring and likely summer too!) I picked up from Michael’s, all of which were 40% off. Between the home decor, lettering goods, and the new Martha Stewart Celebrations party decor line, Julie really shouldn’t leave me unsupervised in there with our Sip & Script card! If you’re out and about today prepping for tomorrow hopefully some of these sources come in handy for you! Happy Easter everyone!
