My name is Hannah, and I am the face behind the pen of HCM Lettering. Although born and raised in Mississippi, Nashville has been my home since 2013. For years, calligraphy has been my retreat, a place where I can escape from the hard-lines of my day job in finance. However, after some encouragement from friends, I decided to take my passion filled hobby and go public with some of my work.

​It wasn't until early 2019 that I turned my love for calligraphy into a fun little side hustle. To my surprise, this small side hustle turned into a large portfolio of fun projects; from addressing wedding envelopes, to teaching modern calligraphy classes with Sip and Script, and everything in between. Lettering has opened so many doors for me, and with each new project, the potential grows. 

Being able to develop my passion into a business has been a dream come true! This journey has been a fun one, and I can't wait to see what the future holds!
