Join us from home for a fan-f***ingtastic night of explicit pretty lettering! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY bride-to-be, or are just looking to learn to write the f-word in a fancy way, this class will give you an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink, but with a curse-word twist. We will cover all the basics and prepare you to add those unique lettered details to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home decor, and more, but we’ll also teach you how to write swear words which we’ve found to be very cathartic.

In this online workshop you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add unique lettered details to all of life’s special occasions. Calligraphy is the perfect special touch to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home decor, gifts and more!  And writing your favorite cuss word in calligraphy just adds that extra spicy flavor that your sweary friends will f***ing love!

Class includes 1 hour of beginner modern calligraphy instruction, our Modern Calligraphy Kit and demonstration from our talented instructor Kathy. You’ll be able to ask questions throughout the event and connect with other like-minded crafters in a small group setting.

Kits will be mailed out a week or so in advance of the class date. US shipping only. If you are out of the US, please email us before purchasing a class ticket.  You will receive an email with your Zoom link! We can’t wait to script and swear with you! Class will start promptly at 7:00pm EST!

Class Expectations: This class is recommended for someone who has never taken a calligraphy class before. We teach the basics and our expectation for you is to have ink flowing through your nib with enough confidence to be able to practice way beyond class. We love using tracing paper with our guides to help you build muscle memory and develop your own style!  If you have tried calligraphy out before, this class will be a great refresher and hopefully a chance to try some new supplies from our beginner kit that will re-introduce you to this lovely form of art!
