Join Sip & Script® to learn Flourishing at home!

Join us from home and tune in to our virtual calligraphy flourishing class! Learn a gorgeous new way to elevate your calligraphy to the next level and get ready to write pretty things from your kitchen table, PJs and wine welcome. This class is a perfect follow up to our beginner class, especially if you’re ready to “fancy things up” a little!

This online workshop will introduce you basics of decorative pointed pen calligraphy BEYOND your basic letterforms. Participants are expected to be familiar with the use of a pressure sensitive writing tool, such as a brush pen or dip pen. Whether you are an established calligrapher already or a lettering newbie interested in advancing your practice, this class is for you!

Class includes 60 minutes of live instruction via Zoom and ample time for student questions led by our Florida based instructor. Class will include warm up drills, a brief overview of some flourishing principles, and step by step instruction for creating beautiful flourishes.  You do not need to have taken any class other than our beginner modern calligraphy class to enjoy learning this new skill. SUPPLIES ARE NOT INCLUDED.

You will leave class with the confidence to bring pretty flourishes to your next snail mail envelopes, place cards, or any other piece that needs a special touch!

You will receive an email before class with a multi-page guide to follow along during class. Feel free to print out or download to use via iPad. Pencil and paper are all you need to join in! You are welcome to use brush pens or dip pens.
