Join Sip & Script^® for an Afternoon of Calligraphy Flourishing!

Join us at The Tides Market, in Safety Harbor, FL for an intermediate lesson in creating pretty botanic inspired flourishes! This class is the perfect next step for anyone with the basic understanding of modern calligraphy, whether you’ve taken our beginner class or learned on your own. Class will include warm up drills, a brief overview of some flourishing principles, and step by step instruction for creating beautiful embellishments. This class will focus on a gorgeous new way to elevate your calligraphy or snail mail just in time for Valentine’s Day!

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, an intermediate calligraphy kit (new nibs,  gouache ink pot, instructional guides, tracing paper and a straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop!

This class is best for someone who has taken a beginner dip pen or brush pen calligraphy class before but if you haven’t, you’ll catch on quickly.

Feel free to come early, grab your seat, and purchase any food or drinks (food and drinks available to purchase throughout class too!). Class will start promptly at 2:30PM! 

Class Expectations: Yes, lefties are welcome too! This class is encouraged for someone who has taken a beginner dip pen or brush pen calligraphy class before. There will be a quick refresher of basic principles at the beginning of class before we move onto more advanced techniques. We love using tracing paper with our guides to help you build muscle memory and hope that you feel confident enough by the end of class to make your own designs on the provided material.

A note on bringing guests 16 and under: We love to share this passion with kids. You are welcome to get a ticket for your child as long as you are comfortable with people around them having a drink or two. We do ask that anyone under the age of 16 is to be accompanied by a ticketed adult at all times.
