JOIN SIP & SCRIPT™ FOR A NIGHT OF BEGINNER CALLIGRAPHY

We are heading to Apponaug Brewing, a brand new brewery in Warwick, Rhode Island, for a creative night of pretty lettering and libations! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY bride-to-be, or looking for a new crafty hobby, come join us for a fun introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to your snail mail, wedding paper goods and signage, home decor and more! The perfect crafty night out!

A little about Apponaug Brewing:
Apponaug Brewing Company is located in the historic Pontiac Mill in Warwick, Rhode Island. We believe that nothing connects people like sharing a great beer and a delicious bite. More than just another brewpub, Apponaug Brewing is our vision of a Third Place, an essential refuge apart from the daily hustles of home and work. This is a community where you can meet up with good friends or make unexpected ones while experiencing the energy of a working brewery. Our brewers proudly draw from the rich history of brewing to create fresh takes on classic styles and unique flavors, all served direct from the tanks. We have a full kitchen and eats to complement our beer selections. Don’t like beer (yet!), we have a selection of crafty spirits and wines.

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (2 nibs, black ink, straight pen holder and 2 alphabet guides), and all Paper Source writing materials. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the night!

Feel free to come early to grab a beer and/or a bite to eat. Class will start promptly at 6:30!
