Hey there, I'm Meagan, the owner and designer behind The Invitation Loft. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Austin, and we have a beautiful little boy, Rance. It wasn't until my senior year at Auburn University and I was designing my own wedding invitations, that I realized I had a true love for paper and design. There was something about using unique materials to create a one of a kind heirloom piece that all of my guests would see. What started out as a hobby after my own wedding has turned into a full blown business and I could not feel more blessed. In 2015 I started dabbling in calligraphy and asked for a calligraphy class for Christmas. I was so excited when I received that gift on Christmas Eve, and it has forever changed my life. It didn't take long for me to realize just how beautiful and relaxing the art of calligraphy is. While I love to create beautiful pieces for my clients, I also love to turn on my favorite show on Netflix or Hulu and listen to the sound of the nib moving across the paper as I relax a little and just create! I'm so very excited for this opportunity to share my love of calligraphy with all of those around me and I can't wait to meet you in class!
