Hi! My name is Joanne! I was born in the Philippines but moved to beautiful Charleston when I was only three months old (not by myself, of course!). I have been obsessed with lettering and handwriting since elementary school! My love for calligraphy started when friends started asking me to address their wedding envelopes and do their wedding signs. While what I was doing at the time was not true calligraphy, I still admired it in the hopes I could one day comprehend the art. After much practice and the decision to take a break from my health professional career, here I am getting the opportunity to teach and share my passion with others! Hopefully, you!
