Hey Y’all!

I’m Carmen Boone and I’m a Nashville native. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by the art of calligraphy. I’ve always loved to write and draw!

In 2018, I finally decided to buy all the tools and supplies and teach myself. I also began hand lettering and practiced both every chance I got. I started writing quotes and scriptures and making gifts for every occasion, for family and friends. This soon led to orders for wedding signs, hangers, invitations, place cards, ornaments, etc.

In 2022, after much encouragement, I started my professional page on Instagram and @catalinacreated was born! Catalina is my middle name. The following year, I had a few requests from friends who wanted me to teach them how to do calligraphy and hand lettering. So, I decided to partner with Sip and Script and become an instructor!

I love being able to use my creativity, outside of my full time job in Finance. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, traveling (preferably to the beach) and spending time with family and friends.
