Join us for an afternoon of intermediate-level calligraphy at Les Petits Bisous in Havre de Grace, Maryland (MD) ! we will work on a special project to aid flair to your home entertaining. Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, in this workshop, we will be taking a deeper dive into the basics of calligraphy we teach in our beginner classes if you’ve taken a class of ours before this is the perfect “next steps” kind of class! You only need to bring your calligraphy pen and nib from your intro class!
*It is strongly suggested that you take a beginner modern calligraphy class before participating in this workshop. You will need a basic understanding of writing with a pen and nib to take this class. As long as you have taken our beginner class, you are good to go!*
If you loved our beginner class, you will love this next step in developing your confidence to wow all your friends this year with pumpkins, home decor, cards, envelopes, gift tags, and more! During this class, you will learn new basic drills to help you level up your calligraphy, mixing your own colored ink, the fundamentals of lettering design, and basic flourishing composition.
The class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our intermediate calligraphy kit (a pen, a new nib, connecting letters worksheets, tracing paper, and an ink pot of colored calligraphy ink). Everything is yours to keep at the end of the class!
Feel free to come early, grab your seat, and purchase from the bakery. (Items are available to purchase throughout the class, too!). The class will start promptly at 12:00 (PM)!
A note on bringing guests 16 and under: We love to share this passion with kids. You are welcome to get a ticket for your child if you are comfortable with people around them having a drink or two. We ask that a ticketed adult accompany anyone under 16 at all times.
