Join Sip & Script^® for an Evening of Intermediate Next Steps Calligraphy!

Join us at Preservation in Geneva, IL for some fall themed cocktail specials and leveling up your calligraphy as an intermediate! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, in this workshop we will be taking a deeper dive into the basics of calligraphy we teach in our beginner classes. If you’ve taken a class of ours before, then this is the perfect “next steps” class! All you need to do is bring your calligraphy pen and nib!

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our intermediate calligraphy kit (connecting letters worksheets, flourishing worksheets, tracing paper, and an ink pot of colored calligraphy) and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop. Please don’t forget to bring your calligraphy pen and nib from your beginner class!

Feel free to come early to check in, grab your seat, and order any food (food and drinks available to order throughout class too!). Class will start promptly at 6:30 PM!

Class Expectations: During this class, you will learn new basic drills to help level up your calligraphy, how to mix your own colored ink, the fundamentals of lettering design, and how to connect letters to form your own unique calligraphy style. If you loved our beginner class, then definitely join this intermediate class to wow your family and friends for the holidays with greeting cards and gift tags!

*It is strongly suggested that you take our beginner’s modern calligraphy class before participating in this intermediate workshop. You will need a basic understanding of writing with a calligraphy pen and nib to take this class. As long as you have taken our beginner class, then you are good to go!*
