Join us at Three Bags Full in Plainville, Massachusetts for a cozy night of creativity, connection, and pretty lettering for beginners! Whether you’re a yarn lover, crafty creative, or simply looking for the perfect handmade-inspired night out, this workshop will introduce you to modern calligraphy using a pointed dip pen and ink while embracing all the warm and cozy knitting vibes. We’ll cover all the basics and help you create beautiful hand-lettered details perfect for gift tags, project labels, handmade cards, cozy home décor, and more. The perfect crafty night out for anyone who loves handmade touches and creative hobbies!

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, two lettering guides tailored to the knitting theme, tracing paper, and straight pen holder), plus all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of class! 🖊️🧶

Feel free to come early and grab your seat (light refreshments will be available throughout class!). Class will start promptly at 6 PM.

Class Expectations: Yes — lefties are welcome too! This class is designed for beginners and perfect for anyone who has never taken calligraphy before. We’ll teach the basics and help you gain enough confidence to continue practicing long after class ends. We love using tracing paper with our guides to help build muscle memory and encourage you to develop your own unique lettering style. If you’ve tried calligraphy before, this class also makes a wonderful refresher and a chance to explore new supplies included in our beginner kit while enjoying a cozy, creative evening.

A note on bringing guests under 18: We love sharing creativity with kids! Guests under 16 are welcome with a ticket, though we ask that they be accompanied at all times by a ticketed adult, as the venue may serve alcohol during the event.
