Intro to Calligraphy & Christmas Ornaments at Vert Plants and Gifts

Join Sip & Script^® for an introduction to modern calligraphy!

Please join us at Vert Plants and Gifts in The Woodlands, Texas for an evening of learning how to create beautiful letters, complete with seasonal sips and ornament lettering. Whether you’re a stationery enthusiast, DIY bride-to-be, or are simply a creative individual, this workshop is perfect for anybody wanting to try their hand at modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to your snail mail, tablescapes, wedding paper goods, home decor, and more!

Class includes instruction and demonstration with She Made It Like That, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, letter guides, tracing paper, and pen holder), and various materials to practice on including ornaments. VersaChalk will be generously providing each class member with some chalk markers and round chalkboard labels to practice on. Vert will also be giving each student a small plant. Everything is yours to keep at the end of class!

BYOB: Please feel free to bring your own drink of choice!
