Join Sip & Script® for an evening Galentine’s Celebration of Learning Calligraphy!
Join us at Indigo & Violet Studio in Chicago, Il to kick-off your Valentines day with sparkles and pretty lettering! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or looking for a fun time out with friends, in this workshop you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to all your valentines, stationery and more! The perfect crafty evening out with your best gals!
Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper and straight pen holder), and extra materials to write on. The second part of the class will include time to create Valentine’s. Indigo & Violet Studio is a BYOB space. Glasses and corkscrew will be provided.

Our COVID-19 Precautions:
- Masks are required
- Since events are BYOB a proof of vaccination for guests is required. Guests should be prepared to show a physical card, photo, or digital health app verification + valid ID.
- Seating arrangements will be spread out between parties
- BYOB* welcome when seated and spaced out
- Instructors will be wearing a mask
- All supplies are your own to use during class and take home after
- Hand sanitizer will be offered
- If you feel sick the day of class, we will gladly transfer you to another event. Please stay home if you are symptomatic.
