Join us for this two part series workshop at B Collective in Chicago, Illinois for floral arranging and pretty lettering!

We will begin with B Collective’s head of Floral Design, Miray, aka Mia as she guides us into a tablescape of your dreams. Enjoy an informative + fun guide in creating your very own centerpiece using fresh flowers! You’ll have access to florals of all colors and styles to create whatever your imagination desires and you will learn how to accent your entire table with the most attention to detail. For the first 1.5 hours that we will be together, Mia will share valuable insider tips that she’s learned along her floral journey, we’ll have a Q&A session with Mia and you’ll take home your freshly made centerpiece.

• 3 hours of instruction and demonstration – 1.5 hours of floral arranging and 1.5 hours of calligraphy.
• Beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper, and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on.
• Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop!

Class Expectations: Yes, lefties are welcome too! This class is encouraged for someone who has never taken a calligraphy class before. We teach the basics, and our expectation for you is to have ink flowing through your nib with enough confidence to be able to practice way beyond class. We love using tracing paper with our guides to help you build muscle memory and develop your own style!  If you have tried calligraphy out before, this class will be a great refresher and hopefully a chance to try some new supplies from our beginner kit that will re-introduce you to this lovely form of art
