Join Sip & Script^® for a Night of Learning Calligraphy!

Join us at the BRK Republic in West Palm Beach, Florida for a night of pups, pints, and pretty lettering! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, in this workshop you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home decor and more! The perfect crafty night out! Most importantly, BRK republic welcomes you to bring your pup along with you as a complimentary day pass or if you are already a member, enjoy a free draft beer!

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the night! We’ll even create something special for you and your pup!

Park Rules:

• Be Safe and Watch your Pup (a Rufferee will be watching the pups as well).
• All dogs must be at least four months old.
• Dogs older than one year must be fixed.
• All dogs must be up to date on all vaccinations (bordetella, distemper-parvo and rabies).
• We encourage you to pre register your dog.
• Feel free to bring your own food to go with your beverages!

Feel free to come early to check in, grab your seat, and order any drinks (drinks will be available throughout the class too!). Class will start promptly at 7pm.

Class Expectations: This class is encouraged for someone who has never taken a calligraphy class before. We teach the basics and our expectations for you is to have ink flowing through your nib with enough confidence to be able to practice way beyond class. We love using tracing paper with our guides to help you build muscle memory and develop your own style!  If you have tried calligraphy out before, this class will be a great refresher and hopefully a chance to try some new supplies from our beginner kit that will re-introduce you into this lovely form of art!
