Calligraphy Alumni Practice Meetup at Sakura Winery in Livermore, CA

PLEASE NOTE – this is not our beginner class!

Did your beginner Sip & Script workshop inspire you to create more pretty lettering? Want to spend your evening around creative people? Join us at Sakura Winery in Livermore, CA for a calligraphy meetup!

Your ticket includes a glass of wine plus a cheese, cracker, and salami snack pack. Guests who prefer non-alcoholic options may enjoy hot tea, hot chocolate, soda, sparkling water, or sparkling apple juice.

This Calligraphy Happy Hour is open to everyone who has taken a Sip & Script beginner workshop. If you haven’t signed up for a workshop yet, check out our schedule to find a beginner class near you!

The class offers 1.5 hours of community and creativity. Throughout the evening, we will practice calligraphy, chat about what we’re working on, and maybe even try a new tool, style, or ink color! Maybe you want to practice addressing envelopes or making place cards or greeting cards! Meet fellow creative beginners and relax while you practice and create.

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN CALLIGRAPHY SUPPLIES  (pen, nibs, ink, and paper) and current practice pages or projects; supplies are not included in the ticket price. A fun variety of supplies to sample and play with will be available, as well as kits for purchase. Although this is not a workshop, your local instructor Carissa will be available for tips and live demonstrations.
