Brush Lettering for Beginners at Corks ‘n Crafts in Downtown Summerlin – Holiday Place Cards

JOIN SIP & SCRIPT® FOR A NIGHT OF LEARNING BRUSH LETTERING!
Join us at Corks ‘n Crafts at Downtown Summerlin in Las Vegas, Nevada for an evening of pretty brush lettering! If you’ve always admired beautiful stationery, handwritten signage used at weddings or in home decor, or just love all hand-lettered crafts, this workshop will leave you feeling confident implementing this art form into your events or everyday life!
Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s brush lettering kit (tracing paper, our Brush Lettering Guides Bundle, a black Tombow Brush Marker, colored Pentel Touch Marker, and a Tomboy Dual Brush Pen), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the class!
At the end of class, we will learn how to make Thanksgiving place cards and each student will get to take some place cards home for their own feasts!

Feel free to come early to check in, grab your seat, and order any food (food and drinks available to order throughout class too!). Class will start promptly at 6pm!
Class Expectations: Yes, lefties are welcome too! This class is encouraged for someone who has never taken a calligraphy class before. We teach the basics and our expectation for you is by the end of class to have enough confidence to be able to practice way beyond class. We love using tracing paper with our guides to help you build muscle memory and develop your own style! If you have tried calligraphy out before, this class will be a great refresher and hopefully a chance to try some new supplies from our beginner kit that will re-introduce you to this lovely form of art!
A note on bringing guests 16 and under: We love to share this passion with kids. You are welcome to get a ticket for your child as long as you are comfortable with people around them having a drink or two. We do ask that anyone under the age of 16 is to be accompanied by a ticketed adult at all times.
