Brush Lettering and Ornament Lettering for Beginners at The Wayward Kitchen & Cocktails

Join Sip & Script for a Night of Learning Brush Lettering!

Join us at The Wayward in Sayville, NY for a festive workshop of holiday fun and pretty lettering for beginners! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, in this workshop you’ll be learning an introduction to brush lettering with a marker and paintbrush. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to all your holiday tables, Christmas trees, hostess gifts, gift tags, holiday card mailings and more!

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s brush lettering kit (watercolor paper, tracing paper, our Brush Lettering Guides Bundle, a black Tombow Brush Marker, a round paintbrush, an ink pot pre-filled with gouache, and a pipette), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop! Additionally, we will be lettering on a take-home acrylic ornament at the end of our class time!

Feel free to come early, grab your seat, and purchase any food (food and drinks available to purchase throughout class too!). The Wayward will be offering Happy Hour Pricing on drinks during class! Class will start promptly at 7 PM! 

A note on bringing guests 16 and under: We love to share this passion with kids. You are welcome to get a ticket for your child as long as you are comfortable with people around them having a drink or two. We do ask that anyone under the age of 16 is to be accompanied by a ticketed adult at all times.
