Beginner’s Brush Lettering at The Silver Shamrocks

Join Sip and Script® for an Afternoon of Brush Lettering!

Join us at The Silver Shamrocks in Rochester, Michigan  for a workshop of pretty brush lettering! If you’ve always admired beautiful stationery, handwritten signage used at weddings or in home decor, or just love all hand-lettered crafts, this workshop will leave you feeling confident implementing this art form into your events or everyday life!

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration from Suki Liu of  Signed By Suki, our beginner’s brush lettering kit (Bristol paper, tracing paper, our Brush Lettering Guides Bundle, 2 Tombow Brush Markers, a round paintbrush, an inkpot pre-filled with gouache, and a pipette), and all materials to write on. In addition, each ticket purchase includes 1 plate of brunch bites and a tasting of 3 sparkling wines. All of the materials is yours to keep at the end of the class!

Class Expectations: This class is encouraged for someone who has never taken a brush class before. We teach the basics and our expectation for you is to learn the brush lettering basics with enough confidence to be able to practice way beyond class. We love using tracing paper with our guides to help you build muscle memory and develop your own style!  If you have tried calligraphy out before, this class will be a great refresher and hopefully a chance to try some new supplies from our beginner kit that will re-introduce you to this lovely form of art!
