Beginner BrushLettering at 309 Coffee!

JOIN SIP & SCRIPT® FOR A NIGHT OF LEARNING BRUSH LETTERING!

Join us at 309 COFFEE in GEORGETOWN, TEXAS for an evening of brush lettering and beverages! If you’ve always admired beautiful stationery, handwritten signage used at weddings or in home decor, or just love all hand-lettered crafts, this workshop will leave you feeling confident implementing this art form into your events or everyday life!

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s brush lettering kit (Bristol paper, tracing paper, our Brush Lettering Guides Bundle, 2 black Tombow Brush Markers, a round paintbrush, an inkpot pre-filled with gouache, and a pipette), and all materials to write on.  Everything is yours to keep at the end of the class!

Feel free to come early to check-in, grab your seat, and order any drinks (food and drinks available to order throughout class too!). Class will start promptly at 5:30 PM! 

Class Expectations: This class is encouraged for someone who has never taken a calligraphy class before. We teach the basics and our expectation for you is to learn the brush lettering basics with enough confidence to be able to practice way beyond class. We love using tracing paper with our guides to help you build muscle memory and develop your own style!  If you have tried calligraphy out before, this class will be a great refresher and hopefully a chance to try some new supplies from our beginner kit that will re-introduce you to this lovely form of art!
