Join us at Dirty Water Distillery / Leyden Street Coffee in Plymouth, MA for a morning of coffee, cocktails, and pretty lettering! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, in this workshop you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to your snail mail, wedding/holiday paper goods, home decor and more!
Class includes [1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper and straight pen holder), all Paper Source writing materials. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the night!
Dirty Water is a micro-distillery located in the heart of Plymouth, MA. They’re a group of creative people that are not afraid of trying new things. The owner has a Ph.D. in physics and the head-distiller has a degree in chemistry, but this doesn’t make them stuffy! Everyone there embraces a philosophy of exploration and adventure. Located in Dirty Water is Leydon Street Coffee, a small batch coffee roaster with daily cafe hours. Attending a class at this unique venue means you’ll be able to enjoy a coffee first, then a cocktail!
