Brush Lettering & Pumpkin Lettering for Beginners at Nest on Main

Join Sip and Script® for an evening of Brush Lettering!

Join us at Nest on Main in Northport, NY for a festive workshop of spooky fun and pretty lettering for beginners! If you’ve always admired beautiful stationery, handwritten signage used at weddings or in home decor, or just love all hand-lettered crafts, this workshop will leave you feeling confident implementing this art form into your events or everyday life! We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to all your spooky spreads — think lettered pumpkins at your front door, on your bar cart, as a Halloween party hostess gift or special occasion gift!

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s brush lettering kit (watercolor paper, tracing paper, our Brush Lettering Guides Bundle, a Tombow Brush Marker, a round paintbrush, an inkpot pre-filled with gouache, and a pipette), and all materials to write on.  Everything is yours to keep at the end of the class!  Additionally, we will be lettering on faux mini pumpkins at the end of our class time!

A note on bringing guests 16 and under: We love to share this passion with kids. You are welcome to get a ticket for your child as long as you are comfortable with people around them having a drink or two. We do ask that anyone under the age of 16 is to be accompanied by a ticketed adult at all times.
