Join Sip & Script® for a Wedding-Inspired Modern Calligraphy Night!

Join us at DeWolf Tavern in Bristol, RI for an evening of pretty lettering with a romantic wedding touch! Whether you’re a stationery lover, DIY bride-to-be, part of the bridal party, or simply a crafty creative, you’ll be introduced to modern calligraphy using a pointed dip pen and ink in this hands-on workshop.

We’ll cover all the basics and guide you through creating elegant wedding-worthy details — think invitation envelopes, place cards, vow books, signage, and other meaningful keepsakes. You’ll leave feeling confident and inspired to add beautiful, hand-lettered touches to your big day (or any special celebration). The perfect bridal outing, girls’ night, or creative date night — come sip, script, and celebrate love in ink! 💍✨

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper, and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop!

Feel free to arrive a little early, settle into your spot, and enjoy delicious food and cocktails, available for purchase before and throughout class. Class will begin promptly at 6:30 PM!

Class Expectations: Yes, lefties are welcome too! This class is encouraged for someone who has never taken a calligraphy class before. We teach the basics, and our expectation for you is to have ink flowing through your nib with enough confidence to be able to practice way beyond class. We love using tracing paper with our guides to help you build muscle memory and develop your own style!  If you have tried calligraphy out before, this class will be a great refresher and hopefully a chance to try some new supplies from our beginner kit that will re-introduce you to this lovely form of art!

A note on bringing guests 16 and under: We love to share this passion with kids. You are welcome to get a ticket for your child if you are comfortable with people around them having a drink or two. We ask that a ticketed adult accompany anyone under the age of 16 at all times.
