08 Dec Sip & Script Turns 2!
We find it so hard to believe we have come up on our 2nd year in business this week! It’s no secret we love celebrating here, so when we realized we were approaching our 2 year class anniversary we knew we had to do something extra like run around with balloons and laugh at each other like it was all very natural! We know it was Shane Godfrey‘s favorite photoshoot to date. Huge thanks to our girl Johanna at Jo Louise Beauty for making us feel so glam that day too! #dreamteam
All joking aside, we are seriously so beyond thankful for the love and support we continue to receive from you all! One of our most FAQ is how we got started, and it was honestly by lucky accident! With no business plan or really any kind of plan at all we threw together an event intended to help ladies write pretty holiday cards in December of 2015. Meg’s husband made a website to collect payment and we still remember that night when we posted and saw tickets being purchased texting each other like OMG people want to come!
We have now taught over 1000 students and teach anywhere from 1-3 classes per week. We have both phased out of custom wedding work and now have the pleasure of referring our Sip & Script alumni to brides! We also launched our licensee program and brought on Jess Glazier who is now teaching Sip & Scripts and will be taking 2018 by storm. We can’t wait to continue to grow and bring you the very best of our little calligraphy world and thank you all so much for following along!
