Brush Lettering & DIY Father’s Day Cards at South Austin Beer Garden

Join Sip and Script® for a Night of Brush Lettering!

Join us at South Austin Beer Garden in Austin, TX for a workshop of pretty brush lettering! If you’ve always admired beautiful stationery, handwritten signage used at weddings or in home decor, or just love all hand-lettered crafts, this workshop will leave you feeling confident implementing this art form into your events or everyday life! We will also cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to your Father’s Day cards.

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s brush lettering kit (watercolor paper, tracing paper, our Brush Lettering Guides Bundle, a black Tombow Brush Marker, a round paintbrush, an inkpot pre-filled with gouache, and a pipette), and all materials to write on.  Everything is yours to keep at the end of the class! Additionally, we will be creating your very own Father’s Day cards at the end of our class time!

Feel free to come early, grab your seat, and purchase any drinks at the bar and food from Taqueria Aztex (the on-site taco truck)! Food and drinks available to purchase throughout class too! Class will start promptly at 7:00pm CT! 

A note on bringing guests 16 and under: We love to share this passion with kids. You are welcome to get a ticket for your child as long as you are comfortable with people around them having a drink or two. We do ask that anyone under the age of 16 is to be accompanied by a ticketed adult at all times.
