Hello! I’m Lauren – longtime Reno/Tahoe local, wedding and event professional and modern calligrapher.

Growing up, good penmanship and lettering was an important aspect of my schooling.   In 2018, I took my good penmanship to the next level and picked up calligraphy.  My new obsession began and shortly afterwards, I started my business Thick and Thin Lines Calligraphy.  I love creating cohesive signage and stationery for weddings that help express a couples style and personality.

Outside of calligraphy, I enjoy traveling with my boyfriend, skiing, snowshoeing with my dog Clyde, lounging with my cat Kiki and paddle boarding the alpine lakes during the summer.
