Growing up, I was always in awe of beautiful penmanship with most of the women in my family excelling in this area. While my love of handwriting has always been a part of me, it was in 2018 that I really took to the art of calligraphy. I signed up for an educational course and immediately started working on projects for my friends and colleagues. I had spent 15+ years in my corporate job of hotel sales and events, working with my customers to take their ideas and visions and turn it into a reality. I loved the idea of being able to continue doing that in the form of art. So in 2019, I left my corporate role and by early 2020 started Rosebud Calligraphy, after my family nickname. Now I enjoy taking that passion to helping others elevate their weddings and events with a personalized touch that only a pointed-pen can bring! I’m originally from Dallas and have since lived in Houston, Chicago, Boston, San Francisco, and now Orlando! If I’m not working on a project or practicing, you can find me spending time with my husband, family or friends, volunteering, or at the gym. I love to take walks around the city, truly enjoy being outdoors, and will always say yes to sushi or champagne!
