Hi! I’m Ashley, the calligrapher behind Writographs Lettering and Calligraphy. I loved learning cursive in the third grade, and people have always complimented my handwriting– so it’s no surprise that I fell in love with hand lettering when I discovered it in 2016! I started with faux calligraphy, then moved to brush pen and dip pen calligraphy. I now specialize in brush lettering, and I’m so excited to share my love for lettering and calligraphy as an instructor with Sip and Script. I’m based in the Boston area, where I live with my husband, our daughter, and our cat. Before Boston, I lived in Hong Kong, Middlebury (Vermont), and Evanston (Illinois)! When I’m not doing calligraphy, I’m reading or writing papers to complete my PhD in Developmental Psychology, playing on the playground with my daughter and husband, or curled up on the couch with our snuggly cat.
