Hi! I’m Ashley, a first generation Filipina-American. I’m ready to break barriers and enter into spaces my family would’ve never approved of growing up. I want to show others who are like me that hopping into the world of creativity is possible. Not fulfilling the typical Nursing route, I explored industries like entertainment and hospitality. As a former Disney Cast Member, Red Carpet Representative, and Wedding Planner – I noticed all of these moments helped me prepare for today and on. My love for events has been prominent in my younger years as I’ve always been one who went a little extra step to add details for celebrations.

Back in 2019, while shopping at Paper Source, I stumbled across their brush lettering workshop and knew I had to sign up. With that one class, and a few workbooks later, I felt the urge to continue and letter away. I created my IG page, @dearlybe, shortly after as a place to showcase my crafts, I never would have thought to call it my business. Within the last year, I have added a few services like calligraphy engraving, laser engraving/cutting, acrylic signage, and picnic rentals. Through this, I’ve made connections with other small business owners, gained new friends, reconnected with old ones, and found a community of calligraphers. When I’m not working, my social life consists of eating out with friends, finding new and trendy spots, shopping and going to music events.
