Abby is a serial hobbyist. She began her calligraphy journey in a Sip and Script class in South Florida. She originally took the class to practice modern calligraphy to apply to the decorated cookies she creates for her baking business, Pretty Crumby Bakery. As she continued to practice, she fell more and more in love with nibs and ink and found herself choosing calligraphy as her late night hobby to unwind after a day of momming two small toddlers.

After posting a picture of a Santa letter she made for her kids on Instagram, she learned how much of a demand there was for calligraphy work within her network. She began offering place cards, menus, invitations, notecards, envelope addressing and other items by request. When a move back to her husband’s hometown of Jacksonville entered her life in 2024, she started her training as a Sip and Script instructor to bring our community to North Florida!

Abby has worked in corporate event planning for over a decade and has always loved the little details that make events personal and special. Whether it’s a place card at a small dinner party or a bar sign at an event for thousands of people, she loves finding a way to make an event unique and memorable.
