Pao Platt is a "kabayan" from the Philippines. Her interest in calligraphy started in second grade when she skipped her classes and spent time in the library learning from her school's in-house calligrapher instead. She practiced on her own but only felt the full enchantment of calligraphy when she attended a Sip & Script class in 2021. She has since been crazy-learning all the scripts she comes across and loves. She uses any and all reasons to write pretty letters by sending thank yous, holiday cards, and everything else in between. She now desires to share the wonders of calligraphy through Sip & Script, and dedicates it all to her cat, Gimbals. Outside of calligraphy, she enjoys doing laundry, and hanging out with her husband watching New England sports. Yes, she truly loves and enjoys doing laundry.
