Aimee is a Maryland native. By career she is a dually licensed physical and occupational therapist for over 10 years. Aimee also has her own baking and food artistry company which landed her on Food Network as a competitor. She has been featured in American Cake Decorating Magazine, WJZ-TV CBS Newstation and more. Aimee is an artisan that decorates cakes, cookies and makes charcuterie boards. She is the owner of Cake Doctor Aimee and Vanilla Orchid entities. As she evolved from doing more than cakes she started Vanilla Orchid Studio, Vanilla Orchid Boards, and Vanilla Orchid Paperie.    Aimee started her calligraphy and hand lettering journey in middle school, trialing fountain pens and markers. Her parents, particularly her Mom, cultivated her love of art. Later in life Aimee decided to invest in learning the art of calligraphy more professionally, attending Sip & Script classes to learn modern calligraphy. After taking multiple classes and becoming engrossed in learning, she got the teaching bug and decided to join the team. Aimee specializes in mixed media, engraving, signage and tags. (And of course desserts & food).
