This class is for anyone who's never picked up a pen. We teach the basics, and our hope is you leave with ink flowing through your nib and the confidence to keep practicing. Tried it before? It's a great refresher with new supplies from our beginner kit.

Left-handed? You're very welcome. This class is designed with lefties in mind — we teach you to get ink flowing through your nib with confidence, whatever hand you use.

All students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult to our classes.

PLEASE NOTE: Some of our classes are held at 21+ establishments, so please read the class description before purchasing.

We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before the start time to settle in. Seating is first come, first served within the venue.

Hello! My name is Allison, I am based on the South Shore. I started learning calligraphy in my dorm room in 2019 for fun, but quickly became obsessed with it! I just practiced the alphabet over and over again, in every style. I started doing signage for friends and family. Being a Sip and Script instructor allows me to share my love for calligraphy, and hopefully help others discover a new hobby or passion! When I'm not hand-lettering, you can find me at the park with my two kids, or chilling at home with my husband. I look forward to meeting you all, and hope to see you in class!
