This class is for anyone who's never picked up a pen. We teach the basics, and our hope is you leave with ink flowing through your nib and the confidence to keep practicing. Tried it before? It's a great refresher with new supplies from our beginner kit.
Left-handed? You're very welcome. This class is designed with lefties in mind — we teach you to get ink flowing through your nib with confidence, whatever hand you use.
All students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult to our classes.
PLEASE NOTE: Some of our classes are held at 21+ establishments, so please read the class description before purchasing.
We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before the start time to settle in. Seating is first come, first served within the venue.

Your Instructor
Hello, I’m Wendy and I am a Connecticut native. I am so excited to be a Sip and Script instructor and share my love for calligraphy with you! Ever since I can remember, I have had a love of markers, pens, papers, and fancy lettering! As an elementary teacher, I love creating fancy lettering and adding sparkle to anything I can make. When I am not teaching second graders or lettering, I enjoy decoupaging oyster shells, creating sea glass art, visiting the beach, and baking. In 2022, I took my first Sip & Script class with Amy from @handletteredbyamy and was instantly hooked! I enjoy teaching others and can’t wait to meet you in class and cheer you on!
