This class is for anyone who's never picked up a pen. We teach the basics, and our hope is you leave with ink flowing through your nib and the confidence to keep practicing. Tried it before? It's a great refresher with new supplies from our beginner kit.
Left-handed? You're very welcome. This class is designed with lefties in mind — we teach you to get ink flowing through your nib with confidence, whatever hand you use.
All students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult to our classes.
PLEASE NOTE: Some of our classes are held at 21+ establishments, so please read the class description before purchasing.
We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before the start time to settle in. Seating is first come, first served within the venue.

My love for calligraphy began over 40 years ago with a fountain pen and a rusty old nib I found in my dad’s desk. Years of journaling, scrapbooking, and collecting pens naturally led me to this beautiful art form. When my daughter needed academic support, we took calligraphy workshops together and discovered how the simple act of writing with intention can improve focus and foster connection. Calligraphy transforms words, each stroke becomes a moment of mindfulness, preserving our thoughts and adding beauty to how we communicate. I’m excited to share that joy with you and help you discover the magic of calligraphy! Based in Houston, TX, I’m a wife, mom of three, and energy professional who loves cappuccinos, traveling, and getting lost in the rain.
