This class is for anyone who's never picked up a pen. We teach the basics, and our hope is you leave with ink flowing through your nib and the confidence to keep practicing. Tried it before? It's a great refresher with new supplies from our beginner kit.

Left-handed? You're very welcome. This class is designed with lefties in mind — we teach you to get ink flowing through your nib with confidence, whatever hand you use.

All students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult to our classes.

PLEASE NOTE: Some of our classes are held at 21+ establishments, so please read the class description before purchasing.

We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before the start time to settle in. Seating is first come, first served within the venue.

Growing up, Shannon was surrounded by friends and family who cherished creativity. She loved picking out pretty scrapbook paper with her mom, making cards with her best friends, and practicing drawing and photography with her brother and dad. In 2014, Shannon's now husband purchased a ticket to a calligraphy workshop for her as a Christmas gift (she knew he was a keeper then!), which really sparked her love for lettering. Shannon started peach & paperie in 2017 and has spent the last few years lettering everything from envelopes to macarons, designing wedding stationery + greeting cards, and painting watercolors. When Shannon isn't working on art, you can find her baking treats or exploring other cities. Shannon is obsessed with all things pineapple and can't say no to anything sweet (including her maltipoo's puppy eyes). Creating for others and helping people celebrate their favorite moments has brought Shannon so much joy. She can't wait to meet you and share this passion of hers with you in Sip & Script classes!
