This class is for anyone who's never picked up a pen. We teach the basics, and our hope is you leave with ink flowing through your nib and the confidence to keep practicing. Tried it before? It's a great refresher with new supplies from our beginner kit.

Left-handed? You're very welcome. This class is designed with lefties in mind — we teach you to get ink flowing through your nib with confidence, whatever hand you use.

All students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult to our classes.

PLEASE NOTE: Some of our classes are held at 21+ establishments, so please read the class description before purchasing.

We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before the start time to settle in. Seating is first come, first served within the venue.

Hi Everyone, I’m Lauren! I was born and raised in South Jersey and have settled back here after college, marriage and the birth of my twin girls. I have been doing calligraphy and hand lettering as a self-taught, fun hobby for a few years while I got to spend time at home with my littles. In 2020, I created LeLo and Ko Lettering and did some local business that included but isn’t limited to, wedding signage, addressing envelopes, wood/canvas home décor signage and fun holiday apparel. There is a peace and calm that comes to me when I get to put the pen to the paper, so to speak, and create lasting memories and special gifts for someone to cherish. When I am not lettering, I am trying to keep up with my active twin girls and our french bulldog or enjoying quality time with my amazing husband. I can’t wait to meet you and see you in class to start creating some of your own magic!
