This class is for anyone who's never picked up a pen. We teach the basics, and our hope is you leave with ink flowing through your nib and the confidence to keep practicing. Tried it before? It's a great refresher with new supplies from our beginner kit.

Left-handed? You're very welcome. This class is designed with lefties in mind — we teach you to get ink flowing through your nib with confidence, whatever hand you use.

All students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult to our classes.

PLEASE NOTE: Some of our classes are held at 21+ establishments, so please read the class description before purchasing.

We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before the start time to settle in. Seating is first come, first served within the venue.

Hi! I’m Ammi (pronounced Amy) and I’ve been into calligraphy since 2020. I started as a new mom looking for a fun, creative outlet and now I get to share my skills in class or at live events like launch parties or brand activations. When I’m not lettering, I’m chasing my two kiddos (three if you count the dog) or reading a good thriller. I love teaching calligraphy and can’t wait to cheer you on!
