This class is for anyone who's never picked up a pen. We teach the basics, and our hope is you leave with ink flowing through your nib and the confidence to keep practicing. Tried it before? It's a great refresher with new supplies from our beginner kit.

Left-handed? You're very welcome. This class is designed with lefties in mind — we teach you to get ink flowing through your nib with confidence, whatever hand you use.

All students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult to our classes.

PLEASE NOTE: Some of our classes are held at 21+ establishments, so please read the class description before purchasing.

We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before the start time to settle in. Seating is first come, first served within the venue.

Hi I’m Danielle, the face behind Danielle Janeen Calligraphy. I’m a midwest girl, born and raised in Ohio. I’ve always loved writing , as a kid I’d sit at my dads desk and write for hours,not doodling just writing. I dabbled in calligraphy a little bit in my teens and picked it up again in 2021 and never looked back. It’s oh soooo very relaxing and therapeutic and I just love writing pretty things. When I’m not writing…you can find me shopping, traveling and spending time with my huge extended family. I’m so excited to be part of the Sip & Script family and I’m looking forward to sharing my love of writing with you!
