Since she was ten, Serina has used writing and art as both a form of strength and a creative outlet. After writing essays and poetry, her curiosity about calligraphy sparked in 2017 when she wanted to create a quote art piece featuring a poem she recited at her brother's wedding. Two years later, Serina took her first brush calligraphy class in Boston and spent a year practicing independently as a relaxing hobby, expanding her ability to creatively quote thoughtful messages. In late 2022, Serina launched her business, Letters by Serina, focusing on live events and custom calligraphy projects for clients such as Kendra Scott. With expertise in digital lettering, brush calligraphy, and engraving, she expanded her offerings in fall 2024 with wellness-inspired stationery and art prints at Boston-area markets.
