Martha Trethewey

Martha is a left-handed calligrapher and engraver based in South Florida. Born in Gainesville, Georgia, Martha attended the University of Michigan where she fell in love with handwritten letters while digging through the archives as a history major. As a high school teacher, Martha would hand-letter her white board and teach her students cursive; her 10th grade class were the ones who convinced her to start a calligraphy business! Martha specializes in wedding calligraphy and luxury engraving and is currently exploring printmaking. She loves to create heirlooms that will be passed down for generations to come. On the weekends, you can find Martha at the nearest beach, museum, or art gallery with her daughter, husband and rescue pup.
