Alyssa Ahrens

Alyssa is a self taught, left handed, Calligrapher and Hand-Lettering Artist from Long Island, NY. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, she found creative inspiration from street art and the arts that constantly surrounded her. Alyssa started teaching herself calligraphy in 2017 and shortly after gaining some confidence with practice, she started doing small custom calligraphy pieces for friends and family events. Over the years, she has provided many amazing clients with custom calligraphy services for weddings and all types of special events. When Alyssa isn't lettering everything she can get her hands on, you can find her running around with her two kiddos, cheering on the Knicks with her husband, or enjoying some quiet time with a glass of Prosecco in hand. She is so excited to be part of the Sip and Script squad and can't wait to see you in class!
