Join us from home and tune in to our virtual modern calligraphy class! Learn a relaxing new craft while in quarantine and get ready to write pretty letters from your kitchen table, sweats and wine welcome!

In this online workshop you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add unique lettered details to all of life’s special occasions during lockdown and beyond. Calligraphy is the perfect special touch to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home decor, gifts and more! You will love this therapeutic art form and will be able to use your new skill to create some happiness during this crazy time!

Class includes 1 hour of beginner modern calligraphy instruction and demonstration from our talented instructor team. You’ll be able to ask questions throughout the event and connect with other likeminded crafters in a small group setting.

Materials Required to attend:

• Calligraphy ink
• 2 different types of nibs
• Straight pen or oblique
• Tracing Paper
• Water Cup
• Paper towel
• Downloaded Basic Strokes and Connecting Letters practice sheets located here
• Optional: cardstock paper

Please note the Beginner Calligraphy Kit is not included with ticket purchase. If you’re looking to purchase materials for class you’ll be able to add it to your cart at checkout. Please allow 5-7 days for kit delivery and plan accordingly with the class you are signing up for so you allow for time to receive your supplies!
