Join Sip & Script^® to learn calligraphy on CINCO DE MAYO!

Join us from home for a virtual Cocktails & Calligraphy class with Amanda Reid! Learn how to mix a Signature Cinco De Mayo Margarita and then learn a relaxing new craft while in quarantine! You’ll be able to sip your DIY cocktail while learning calligraphy from home!

In this online class, you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add unique lettered details to all of life’s special occasions during lockdown and beyond. Calligraphy is the perfect special touch to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home decor, gifts and more! You will love this therapeutic art form and will be able to use your new skill to create some happiness during this crazy time!

Class includes a downloadable recipe card to make a Black Raspberry Margarita, a 10-minute live demonstration from a Chambord Brand Ambassador, followed by 1 hour of beginner modern calligraphy instruction and demonstration with Amanda Reid. You’ll be able to ask questions throughout the event and connect with other likeminded crafters in a small group setting.

Materials Required to attend:

• Calligraphy ink
• 2 different types of nibs
• Straight pen or oblique
• Tracing Paper
• Water Cup
• Paper towel
• Downloaded Basic Strokes and Connecting Letters practice sheets located here (FREE!)
• Optional: cardstock paper
