Join us from home and tune in to our virtual brush lettering class! Learn a relaxing new craft while in quarantine and get ready to write pretty letters from your kitchen table, sweats and wine welcome!

In this online workshop, you’ll be learning an introduction to brush lettering with a brush marker, paintbrush, and gouache based ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add unique lettered details to all of life’s special occasions during lockdown and beyond. If you’ve always admired beautiful stationery, handwritten signage used at weddings or in home decor, or just love all hand-lettered crafts, this workshop will leave you feeling confident implementing this art form into your events or everyday life! You will love this therapeutic art form and will be able to use your new skill to create some happiness during this crazy time!

Class includes 1 hour of beginner brush lettering instruction and demonstration from our talented instructor team. You’ll be able to ask questions throughout the event and connect with other likeminded crafters in a small group setting. No experience is necessary. We cover all the basics with all the materials, prepping and mixing gouache, and lettering through our brush alphabet. *Please note ALL classes are listed in eastern time!

Purchasing supplies is not required to attend, however, if you are interested in taking our Brush Lettering class, please make sure you have at least a brush marker and a small paintbrush with either gouache or watercolor paint. The Beginner Brush Lettering Kit guides you through the full class and includes:

• Watercolor paper
• Tracing paper
• Brush Lettering Guides Bundle (Cover Page, warm-up page, script guide, print guide,  practice worksheet and ink making instruction card)
• Brush Lettering Quote Card
• 1 black Tombow Brush Marker
• 1 round paintbrush in size 20/0
• Inkpot pre-filled with gouache
• Pipette
• Water cup for mixing ink
• cocktail napkin

* Please note the Beginner Brush Lettering Kit is not included with ticket purchase. If you’re looking to purchase materials for class you’ll be able to add it to your cart at checkout. Please allow 5-7 days for kit delivery and plan accordingly with the class you are signing up for so you allow for time to receive your supplies!
