Get ready to write pretty letters from your own table—sweats and wine welcome!

In this online workshop, you’ll be learning an introduction to brush lettering with a brush marker, paintbrush, and gouache based ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add unique lettered details to all of your Valentine’s Day cards and fun DIY projects. Brush lettering is the perfect special touch to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home decor, gifts, and more! You will love this therapeutic art form and will be able to use your new skill to create some lettered happiness during the busy holiday season!

The class includes 1 hour of beginner brush lettering instruction, our Brush Lettering kit, and a demonstration from our talented instructor, Caroline. You’ll be able to ask questions throughout the event and connect with other like-minded crafters in a small group setting. No experience is necessary. We cover all the basics with all the materials, prepping and mixing gouache, and lettering through our brush alphabet.

Our Brush Lettering Kit includes:

• 1 Dual Tip Brush Marker
• 1 paintbrush size 20/0
• 1 pot of our seasonal colored watercolor gouache
• 5 page Brush Lettering Guide & alphabet
• 1 fun cocktail napkin to hold your beverage of choice
• 1 5 page pack of tracing paper
• 1 Sip & Script quote card
• 1 pipette for water mixing
• 1 tracing paper pack of 5 sheets sized 9″x 12″
• A variety of 4″ x 6″ paper for cards and projects
• Kit’s will be available for pick-up from Kathy Risolvo prior to the event

*Please note, extra holiday items are not included in the kit. The class will be an introduction to modern brush calligraphy and end with the optional valentine writing activity. Feel free to grab extra paper and a Sharpie!
