JOIN SIP & SCRIPT™ FOR A NIGHT OF LEARNING CALLIGRAPHY!

Join us at The Chanler at Cliff Walk in Newport, RI  for a night of Southern-inspired cocktails, book chats and pretty lettering! In our April book selection “Where the Crawdads Sing” the main character Kya learns to read and write late in life.  Sentimental letters and poetry play an important role in her coming of age story.  What better way to make this month’s meeting extra special than our own private calligraphy class!

In this workshop, you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper and straight pen holder), all Paper Source writing materials, a southern-inspired cocktail, and seasonal light bites! Everything is yours to keep at the end of the night!
