JOIN SIP & SCRIPT® FOR A NIGHT OF LEARNING CALLIGRAPHY!

Join us at Grey Sail Brewing Company in Westerly, RI for an evening of craft beer and calligraphy! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY bride-or-groom-to-be, or just looking to pick up a new crafty hobby, this workshop will give you an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home decor and more! Mix in a Grey Sail beer or cocktail, and you’ve got the perfect crafty night out!

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper and straight pen holder), and writing materials. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the night!

Grey Sail has been serving craft beers to Rhode Island’s south county since 2011. Its name pays homage to the “rolling waves, glistening waters, and grey sails on the horizon” of Rhode Island. Formerly the Westerly Macaroni Factory, a USPS outpost, and auto body shop, Grey Sail is proud to call 63 Canal Street home.
