Hi!!  I am Carolyn and I am a traditional and modern calligrapher in Lincoln, California. I am delighted to be here with the Sip Squad to teach you the beautiful and meditative art of calligraphy (which means the art of drawing beautiful letters!)

For as long as I can remember I have been attracted to beautiful writing but it wasn’t until I raised my family and retired from my real estate appraising business that I  treated myself to learning it. I fell in love with this creative outlet and have been practicing and creating for over 5 years now.  My creations include writing on magnolia leaves for a wedding, writing and engraving on wine bottles and numerous other glass surfaces, framed commissioned pieces, painting calligraphy on needlepoint canvases for clients, greeting cards and envelopes. The joy that my calligraphy gifts and letters have given so many has in turn given me so much joy and satisfaction in return.
